Fashion Design
Every design begins with the hand and the vision.
The concepts presented here are my original technical sketches.
Fashion Scholarship Fund
Researched one fashion and one non-fashion brand to conceptualize a collaborative collection for submission to the Fashion Scholarship Fund, integrating consumer insights, brand alignment, and product innovation.
Comprehensive Technical Pack Development
This project explores denim as a symbolic uniform of collective labor and dissent, drawing from 1960s student protest movements and the political allegory of Animal Farm, while focusing on the development of a detailed technical pack. Through layered construction and visible reinforcement, it reflects the experience of everyday people, like Boxer, whose work sustains societal systems while maintaining belief in them, even when those systems fall short.
Ready To Wear Project
This collection is inspired by the private world of a devoted reader, romantic, introspective, and quietly rebellious. The garments are shaped by the physical and emotional traces left behind in well-loved books. Handwritten notes in the margins, smudged fingerprints, dog-eared pages, and underlined passages that once felt devastatingly personal become symbols of ownership, memory, and intimacy. These marks act as proof that a story has been lived with rather than merely consumed.
3D Pattern Development
For this project, I used CLO 3D to design a garment inspired by the work of Vivienne Westwood, drawing from her use of historical references, subversive silhouettes, and punk-influenced femininity. The digital design process allowed me to experiment with proportion, drape, and structure while refining fit through real-time 3D simulation. Once finalized, I generated production-ready patterns directly from CLO 3D and used them to construct the garment physically, bridging digital design with traditional sewing techniques. This project strengthened my understanding of how 3D design technology can support both creative exploration and precise garment construction while honoring a designer’s conceptual legacy.
